Overall, a good beard balm. My beard is of moderate length, around 1.5 inches in length, and very curly in most places. It immediately relieved any beard itch or dandruff problems that I was having. I would say it has a light hold, which is my only complaint about it, because I bought it partially to help keep stray hairs in check (which it does for some, but not as completely as I had hoped). The scent does dissipate within an hour of being applied, depending on how much is applied (I apply more than most because of the thickness of my beard), and it is easy to apply with its consistency. I bought two tubs originally, and I have not decided yet whether I will purchase more from Stubble and Stache when these run out yet or continue to search for a beard balm.
