Beard Oil Is Obsolete

January 09, 2014

Masculinity is back in America. Men across the country are embracing those natural features that define us as men. Most notably, I’m talking about beards. The New York Times ran an article in November citing a study conducted by Just For Men. This study found roughly 60 percent of men have beards or mustaches today, compared to 43 percent in 1993.

With the increasing number of bearded men, there are an ever growing number of beard care products hitting the market. The vast majority of these products fall into the same category: Beard Oils.

Beard oils are a simple mixture of several oils that benefit both your facial hair and the skin beneath. Beard oils are normally sold in one-ounce bottles ranging in price from $10 to over $30 per ounce.

While beard oils are effective at addressing a few beard/skin issues, they fall short of being a truly complete beard and skincare solution.

The last thing any man wants to do is to apply oil to his beard, then use those oily hands to apply a second product to his  face.

What’s needed is a single, highly effective, multipurpose non-greasy product.

Enter stubble & ‘stache. We spent over eight months perfecting our formula. Utilizing the finest oils, natural botanicals, moisturizers and conditioners we created a product for both your face and beard that:

  • Reduces itch and skin irritation caused by facial hair
  • Conditions, detangles, strengthens and enhances shine of the beard
  • Hydrates and helps repair the skin
  • Helps to smooth the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Contains antioxidants that help reduce skin damage caused by free radicals

What is No-Shave November?

Things tend to get pretty hairy each November. From playoffs to colder weather, there are a lot of reasons men tend to grow their facial hair more this time of year. Two major drivers for furrier faces in November are Movember and No-Shave November. Today we take a deeper look at No-Shave November (and yes, it is more than just a cutesy name to justify your facial hair to your boss).
